TEACHING

The Department of Clinical Physiotherapy provides teaching for third- and fourth-year students enrolled in the Master’s Degree Programme in Physiotherapy. The curriculum covers clinical physiotherapy, functional assessment, and physiotherapy management in patients with internal medicine conditions.

The Department is responsible for the following courses:

Clinical Physiotherapy in Internal Medicine in Surgery (Year 3)
Clinical Physiotherapy in Internal Medicine in Geriatrics (Year 3)
Clinical Physiotherapy in Internal Medicine in Psychiatry (Year 3)
Functional Assessment and Physiotherapy Planning in Internal Medicine Part I (Year 4)
Functional Assessment and Physiotherapy Planning in Internal Medicine Part II (Year 4)

The educational programme focuses on developing students’ clinical competencies, enhancing their skills in functional assessment, and preparing them to plan and deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions in accordance with current scientific knowledge and the principles of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP).
